- Step 1 In a pressure cooker, heat 1 tsp ghee, add 1/4 tsp jeera, 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp green chilli paste and mix well.
- Step 2 Add 1/4 tsp garam masala powder, 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/8 cup rinsed rice and 1/8 cup rinsed masoor dal.
- Step 3 Pour water as required and add 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
- Step 4 Give it a Nestle Twist by adding flax seeds
- Step 5 Pressure cook until 2 whistles
- Step 6 Once the pressure releases, fluff the khichdi gently.
- Step 7 Serve it hot with kadhi or plain Nestlé A+ Curd.
