- Step 1 In a heated pan, add 1 tbsp oil, 1/4 tsp rai, 1/4 tsp jeera, 1 tsp chopped green chilli, 1/2 tsp chopped ginger, 4 cashew nuts and 1/8 tsp haldi.
- Step 2 Allow to crackle, add tempering into idli batter and mix.
- Step 3 Give a Nestle Twist by adding white sesame seeds.
- Step 4 Grease the Idli molds with 1/2 tsp oil and pour a spoonful batter in the molds.
- Step 5 Steam in the idli steamer till it cooks.
- Step 6 Once the idli are cooked, cool them slightly and demold the idlis.
- Step 7 Serve hot with sambhar.
