  • For the ragda

    Soak 1.5 tbsp vatana overnight and pressure cook it with 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/2 tsp salt and the required amount of water until 3 whistles.

  • Preparation

    Heat 2 tsp oil in a kadai and add 1/4th tsp rai, 1/8th tsp hing and saute.

  • Put 4 tsp chopped onion, 1/4th tsp red chilly powder, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4th tsp salt and saute them well.

  • Add 1/8th tsp dhania powder and add the cooked vatana.

  • Mix it well and simmer.

  • Sprinkle 2 tbsp grated fresh coconut

  • Add 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves..

  • Mix it well and serve it hot.
