Walnut Cake Recipe

1/2 Cup(64.0 gm) Maida

1/3 Cup(67.0 ml) Milk

1/8 Cup(30.0 gm) Curd

2 Tbsp(22.0 gm) Sugar (Powder)

1 Tbsp(9.0 gm) Walnut (Chopped)

1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Baking Powder
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Baking Soda

1/8 Tsp(0.4 gm) Vanilla Extract

1/8 Tsp(0.56 gm) Salt

1.5 Tbsp(12.0 ml) Oil
  • In a Bowl, add 1/8th cup oil, 1/4th cup sugar and whisk it well.

  • Then add 1/8th cup curd, 1 tsp vanilla essence, 1/2 cup maida, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/4th tsp baking soda, 1/8th tsp salt and mix well.

  • Once mixed, add 1/3rd cup milk and 1 tbsp chopped walnuts.

  • Cut and fold the mixture.

  • Brush a tin with oil and pour batter evenly.

  • Preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius and bake at 180 for 25 mins.

  • Check with a toothpick if the cake is ready.

  • Serve delicious walnut cake.
