Vetal Kozhumbu is a traditional Indian recipe packed with nutrients. Can be relished with rice.
In a kadai, heat 1 tsp oil, 1 tsp rai, 1/4th tsp methi beej, 2 dry red chilly, 7 curry leaves, 1/8th tsp hing and allow to crackle.
Add 1/2 cup onion, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp turmeric powder, 1/4th tsp sambhar powder and mix.
Now add water, 2 tsp tamarind pulp, 1 tsp rice flour, mix well and cook for 5 min on low flame.
