Idli is a staple food of South India which is made by steam-cooking rice and lentil batter. This Red Rice Idli with veggies is another healthy alternative breakfast loaded with antioxidants, fibre, vitamins & minerals.

1 Grated Tbsp(9.0 gm) Green Zucchini
1 Grated Tbsp(9.0 gm) Carrot
1/8 Tsp(0.56 gm) Salt
1/2 Tsp(2.0 ml) Oil
30 Ml(30.0 ml) Water
2 Tbsp(30.0 gm) Red Rice
2 Tsp(8.0 gm) Urad Dal
  • Add 1 tbsp grated carrot, 1 tbsp grated zucchini to the batter.

  • Mix the batter well

  • Grease Idli Mold with 1/2 tsp Oil

  • Pour Batter into it

  • Cover and Steam till Cooked

  • Serve Hot
