Veggie Fingers Recipe

A delicious, innovative indian snack made by shallow frying a coarse batter of a blend of vegetables. It is perfect as an evening snack or breakfast. A favourite amongst all age groups, it can be served with ketchup, mint chutney or coriander chutney.

  • Take a mixing bowl and add 2 tbsp boiled, mashed potato, 1 tbsp grated carrot, 1 tbsp chopped cabbage, 1 tbsp chopped capsicum, 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves, 1/4th tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp garam,1/4th tsp salt and ½ tbsp of bread crumbs.

  • Making sure all the ingredients are evenly distributed, make fingershaped raw cutlets, coat them in bread crumbs and keep aside.

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil on a low flame in a frying pan.

  • Shallow fry the cutlets on both sides till crispy and golden brown.

  • Serve hot.
