- Step 1
For Dal
In a kadhai, add 2 tbsp tamarind pulp, 7 drumsticks, 1/4 cup diced capsicum, 1/4 cup diced brinjal, 1/4 cup chopped tomato, 1 tsp sambhar powder, 1/4 tsp salt, water as required, mix, cover and allow it to cook well.
- Step 2
Add 1/4 tsp haldi, cooked arhar dal. Mix well and let it boil.
- Step 3
For Tadka
In a heated pan, add 1 tsp oil.
- Step 4
Add 1/4 tsp rai, 1/4 tsp hing, 1 red chilli, 12 kadi patta and saute for a minute.
- Step 5
For Sambhar
Add tempering in the sambhar.
- Step 6
Add 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves, 2 tsp grated fresh coconut and mix to combine all ingredients.
- Step 7
Serve hot with rice.
