Vegetable Oats Uttapam With Coconut Chutney Recipe

A healthy twist to our lovely uttapams, adds a great amount of fibre and protein to our diet . It is just as delicious as our regular uttapams.

1/2 Tbsp(5.0 gm) Capsicum(Chopped)

1/8 Tsp(0.46 gm) Baking Powder
ingredients
1/8 Tsp(0.58 gm) Salt

1/2 Tsp(2.0 ml) Oil

As Required(20.0 ml) Water

1.5 Tbsp(23.0 gm) Dry Coconut
ingredients
1 Tbsp(8.0 gm) Bhuna Chana

1/4 Tsp(0.53 gm) Green Chilli(Chopped)

1/4 Tsp(0.54 gm) Ginger(Chopped)

1/8 Tsp(0.58 gm) Salt

As Required(10.0 ml) Water
  • In a bowl add 1 tbsp oats flour, 1 tbsp suji, 2 tbsp Nestlé A+ Curd, 1/8th tsp baking powder and 1/8th tsp salt.

  • Add water as required to make a smooth mixture.

  • Allow it to rest.

  • In a pan, add 1/2 tsp oil.

  • Spread the batter evenly.

  • Sprinkle 1/2 tbsp chopped onion, 1/2 tbsp chopped tomato and 1/2 tbsp chopped capsicum.

  • Cover and cook until both sides turn light brown.

  • For chutney

    In a blender jar add 1.5 tbsp dry coconut, add 1 tbsp chana dal, 1/8th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp chopped ginger, 1/4th tsp chopped green chilli.

  • Blend until smooth.

  • Serve uttapam with chutney.
