Tomato Onion Bhaji Recipe

Tomato onion bhaji is simple, quick yet flavorful curry. This curry can be prepared with common household spices and ingredients and can be enjoyed in any season with hot rice or chapati.

1/2 Chopped Cup(78.0 gm) Tomato
1/4 Chopped Cup(28.0 gm) Onion
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
1/4 Powder Tsp(0.54 gm) Red Chilly
0.13 Tsp(0.3 gm) Haldi
0.13 Tsp(0.56 gm) Salt
1.0 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil
40.0 Ml(40.0 ml) Water
  • Heat 1 tsp oil in a kadhai.

  • Add 1/4th tsp jeera and allow it to crackle.

  • Add 1/4th cup onion and saute till golden brown.

  • Add 1/4th tsp red chilly powder, 1/8th tsp haldi and 1/8th tsp salt. Saute well.

  • Add water as required and mix well.

  • Add 1/2 cup chopped tomato to the mixture. Mix Well.

  • Add 15 ml water, close the lid and cook till water dries.

  • Garnish with coriander leaves.

  • Serve hot with chapati.
