Tomato Omelette Recipe

A batter made of gram flour and tomato, flavored with Indian spices and paired with a bread slice or roti to make a complete snack.

1/2 Tsp(2.0 ml) Oil

  • In a mixing bowl, add 2 tbsp each of besan and chopped tomato.

  • Add 1/8th tsp each of salt, red chilli powder, dhania powder, dry mango powder and haldi.

  • Add sufficient water and mix well.

  • To this, add 1/8th tsp ajwain, 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves and mix well.

  • Pour the prepared mixture into the omelette pan and spread.

  • Sprinkle on some black sesame seeds for a nutritional twist.

  • Add 1/2 tsp oil to fry and flip.

  • Serve hot.
