- Step 1 Heat a kadhai with 1 tsp oil, add 1/4 tsp rai, kadi patta, 1/4 tsp hing, 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1/2 cup chopped tomato and saute
- Step 2 Season with 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1/4 tsp salt and mix well.
- Step 3 Add a little water to adjust the consistency and let it simmer.
- Step 4 Garnish with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
- Step 5 Give it a Nutritional Twist by adding black sesame seeds
- Step 6 Serve hot with chapati
