Tomato Chutney Recipe

Tangy and mildly spicy, tomato Chutney is a perfect accompaniment when Amla is in season. High on nutrition, this side dish is rich in Vitamin C, high in antioxidants and fiber too. Spread it on your bread or enjoy with your paratha. It helps in boosting immunity.

1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Ginger (Chopped)

  • preparation

    In a blender add 1/4th cup tomato, 1/4th cup onion, 1 no. green chili, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/2 tsp garlic, 1/4th tsp hing, 1/2 tsp white sesame seeds, add 1/4th tsp salt,1/4th tsp red chili powder

  • Blend it to smooth consistency.

  • For tempering

    Add 1/2 tsp oil, 1/4th tsp Rai, 1/4th tsp black urad dal, 2 no. kadi patta, add tomato mixture & mix

  • Add tempering to chutney and serve.
