Tomato Basil Beetroot Soup Recipe

50 Ml(100.0 ml) Water
1 Tsp(5.0 gm) Jaggery
1 Tbsp(13.0 gm) Cream
1 Tsp(2.0 ml) Olive Oil
2 Chopped Tbsp(22.0 gm) Beet Root
1 Chopped Tsp(0.84 gm) Basil Leaves
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1/4 Powder Tsp(0.75 gm) Black Pepper
1/4 Diced Cup(43.0 gm) Tomato
  • In a pan, heat 1 tsp olive oil.

  • Add 1/4th cup tomato, 2 tbsp chopped beetroot and saute.

  • Add 1/4th tsp each of salt and pepper and mix well.

  • Add little water, cover the pan with a lid and cook for 5 minutes.

  • Add 1 tsp jaggery, 1 tbsp fresh cream and mix well.

  • Turn off the flame, puree the mixture with a blender till smooth

  • Pour it into a bowl, add 4 torned basil leaves

  • Serve warm
