Tofu Sprouts Squares Recipe

Tofu Sprouts square gives a good amount of complex carbohydrate, protein and fibre. Sprouts present in the square contains a good amount of vitamin C which is the richest antioxidant and helps fighting disease containing organisms, it provides protein and fibre in huge amount.Tofu is a rich source of dairy free protein.

  • For mixture

    In a kadai, heat 1 tsp oil, add 1 tbsp chopped onion and saute till golden brown

  • Add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp green chilly paste and mix well.

  • Now add 1 tbsp moong, 1 tbsp matki, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/8th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp dhania powder, water and mix. Now add 2 tbsp chopped tofu and mix properly.

  • For Sheet

    In a bowl, add 2 tbsp wheat flour, 1 tbsp maida, 1/8th tsp salt, water, mix well and knead into a soft dough.

  • Set aside for 10 minutes.

  • Roll out the dough ball using rolling pin.

  • Add prepared mixture, make square pockets & seal.

  • In a kadai, heat oil for frying and deep fry squares till it turns golden brown.

  • Serve hot.
