Tofu Mushroom Capsicum Satay Recipe

A wonderful mixture of protein rich tofu along with fiber rich veggies mushroom and capsicum. Coated with flavorful and aromatic spices - this dish is very delectable and makes up for a great party starter too.

1/3 Small(12.0 gm) Mushroom
2 Cube(12.0 gm) Red Capsicum
2 Cube(10.0 gm) Capsicum
1/4 Tsp(0.44 gm) Jeera Powder
1/4 Tsp(0.41 gm) Dhania Powder
1/2 Tbsp(4.0 ml) Oil
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1/4 Powder Tsp(0.54 gm) Red Chilly
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Peanut Butter
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Soya Sauce
1/2 Chopped Tsp(1.0 gm) Lemon Grass
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Brown Sugar
1/4 Diced Cup(46.0 gm) Tofu
  • In a mixing bowl add prepared onion puree,1/4th tsp red chilly powder,1/4th tsp cumin powder,1/4th tsp coriander powder,1/2 tsp brown sugar,1/4th tsp peanut butter,1/2 tsp soya sauce,1/4th tsp salt,1/2 tsp chopped lemongrass, 1/4th cup diced tofu,2 no.small mushrooms and mix it well.

  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a griller pan.

  • Insert a marinated tofu,2 cube green capsicum,2 cube red capsicum, small mushroom into skewers alternately.

  • Grill it in the heated oil and let it cook well.

  • Serve hot with noodles/rice or as it is as a snack.
