Tofu Broccoli Squares Recipe

Tofu broccoli square gives a good amount of complex carbohydrate, protein and fibre. Broccoli present in the square contains a good amount of vitamin C which is the richest antioxidant and helps fighting disease containing organisms and tofu is a rich source of dairy free protein.

1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Green Chilli Paste
1/2 Tsp(0.82 gm) Dhania Powder
1/4 Tsp(0.37 gm) Garam Masala
0.13 Tsp(0.3 gm) Haldi
0.13 Tsp(0.56 gm) Salt
1.0 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil
30.0 Ml(30.0 ml) Water
3.0 Tbsp(22.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
2.0 Tbsp(11.0 gm) Maida
0.13 Tsp(0.56 gm) Salt
2.0 Tbsp(12.0 ml) Oil
15.0 Ml(15.0 ml) Water
  • For mixture

    In a kadai, heat 1 tsp oil, add 1 tbsp chopped onion and saute till golden brown

  • Add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp green chilli paste and mix well.

  • Now add 2 tbsp chopped broccoli, 1/8 tsp haldi, 1/8 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp dhania powder, water and mix. Now add 2 tbsp chopped tofu and mix properly.

  • For Sheet

    In a bowl, add 2 tbsp wheat flour, 1 tbsp maida, 1/8 tsp salt, water, mix well and knead into a soft dough.

  • Set aside for 10 minutes.

  • Roll out the dough ball using rolling pin.

  • Add prepared mixture, make square pockets and seal.

  • In a kadai, heat oil for frying and deep fry squares till it turns golden brown.

  • Serve hot.
