Thekua is one of the most popular sweet dishes from the Bihar state of India and is Crispy, Crunchy, and Sweet in taste. Thekua is a delectable sweet dish, which includes Fiber.
In a pan add 1/4th cup jaggery powder, water as required , mix and bring to a boil. Keep aside.
In a bowl add 1/2 cup whole wheat flour,1/8th cup grated dry coconut,1/4th tsp saunf,1/8th tsp green elaichi powder,1/2 tbsp ghee, jaggery syrup, water as required and combine all together.
Take a small portion and shape like a leaf using a back of a fork.
Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry thekua till golden.
