Thandai With Sugar Recipe

Refreshing Indian drink, Thandai is made with nuts, saffron, fennel seeds, cardamom, peppercorns! 1 Cup(204.0 ml) Milk

1.5 Tbsp(17.0 gm) Sugar(Powder)

1 Tbsp(8.0 gm) Saunf
ingredients
1 Tbsp(8.0 gm) Pista(Chopped)
ingredients
1 Tbsp(11.0 gm) Almond(Chopped)
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(0.5 gm) Green Elaichi(Powder)
ingredients
1 Tsp(3.0 gm) Khas Khas
ingredients
4 No.(0.36 gm) Black Pepper
  • In a bowl take 1 tbsp chopped almond, 1 tbsp saunf, 4 black peppers, 1 tbsp chopped pista and 1/4th tsp green elaichi powder. Soak for 15 minutes, blend to make the mixed masala and keep aside.

  • Take a frying pan at a low flame and pour in 1 cup of milk.

  • Once it starts boiling, add 1.5 tbsp sugar powder, previously made mixed masala and allow it to boil.

  • Stirring continuously, allow it to cook for a few more minutes.

  • Take off the flame and allow it to cool.

  • Garnish with pista slices and saffron strands.

  • Serve cold.
