- Step 1 Heat a pan with 2 tsp oil, add 1/8 tsp rai, 1/2 tsp jeera, 5 tsp chopped onion and sauté.
- Step 2 Add kadi patta, 1/2 tsp chopped green chilli, 1/4 tsp haldi, 4 tbsp soaked poha and salt for taste
- Step 3 Give it a Nestle Twist by adding lemon juice
- Step 4 Mix well and garnish with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves and set aside
- Step 5 Next, heat another pan with 1 tsp oil, add 1/4 tsp of each rai and jeera, 1/8 tsp black peppercorns, 2 cloves, 1 bay leaf, kadi patta and saute.
- Step 6 Add 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute
- Step 7 Add 1/4 tsp of each red chilli powder, coriander powder and 1/8 tsp each of haldi and hing.
- Step 8 Mix everything well
- Step 9 Add cooked chana, salt for taste and add water.
- Step 10 Cook over low flame until all flavors combine well
- Step 11 Garnish with 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
- Step 12 Serve poha with hot tarii
