Tamarind Vegetable Rice Recipe

A tangy rice dish made with channa and urad dals, infused with the flavor of tamarind pulp and lots of vegetables makes this recipe high in fiber, vitamins and minerals.

1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Tamarind Pulp

1 Tbsp(13.0 gm) Tomato(Chopped)

1 Tbsp(8.0 gm) Onion(Chopped)

1 Tbsp(9.0 gm) Carrot(Chopped)
ingredients
2 Tbsp(26.0 gm) Basmati Rice

1 Tsp(4.0 gm) Chana Dal

1/4 Tsp(0.93 gm) Rai
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
ingredients
1 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil
  • In a pan add 1 tsp oil, 1/4th tsp rai, 1/4th tsp jeera, 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1 tbsp chopped carrot

  • and mix well.

  • Add 1 tbsp Chopped tomato, black urad dal, 1 tsp chana dal & Mix Well

  • Add 2 tbsp Cooked basmati rice and 1/4th tsp salt & 1/2 tsp tamrind.
