- Step 1 Heat a pan with 1 tsp oil, add 1/4 tsp rai, 1/4 tsp jeera and let it crackle
- Step 2 Add 1 tsp urad dal, kadi patta, 1tsp chana dal and roast until light brown
- Step 3 Add 2 tbsp cooked basmati rice and season with 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp tamarind and mix well.
- Step 4 Cook for a minute until all flavors combine well
- Step 5 Give it a Nestle Twist by adding grated carrot
- Step 6 Serve hot
