Puri is a deep-fried bread made from unleavened whole-wheat flour that originated in the Indian subcontinent. It is eaten for breakfast or as a snack or light meal. This sweet poori with fragrance of rose petals is an interesting twist to your regular pooris.

1 Chopped Tsp(0.83 gm) Rose Petals
1/8 Powder Tsp(0.24 gm) Green Elaichi
1 Powder Tbsp(10.0 gm) Jaggery
1/4 Cup(41.0 gm) Wheat
50 Ml(25.0 ml) Water
3 Tsp(10.0 ml) Oil
1/2 Tsp(2.0 ml) Oil
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
For poori
In a bowl , 3 tbsp take whole wheat flour, add 1 tbsp jaggery powder, 1/8th tsp elaichi powder, 1 tsp chopped rose petals, 1/4th tsp salt, oil, water for binding . Kneed to make a soft dough.
Roll to make small pooris.
Heat oil and fry pooris till golden.
Serve hot.
