In a kadhai, melt 2 tsp ghee.
Add 1/4 tsp rai,1 tbsp peanuts, roast them.
Add cooked dal,5 kadi patta, 1 tsp chopped ginger, 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp red chilly powder and 1 tbsp chopped tomato. Mix well.
To this mixture, 1 tsp tamarind paste, 2 tsp chopped jaggery and mix well.
Garnish with 1/2 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
