- Step 1 Heat a kadhai with 1 tsp ghee, add 1/4 tsp rai, 5 kadi patta, 1 tsp chopped ginger, 1 tbsp peanuts and roast for few seconds.
- Step 2 Add cooked dal, 1 tsp chopped ginger, 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder and 1 tbsp chopped tomato.
- Step 3 Mix everything well.
- Step 4 Add 1 tsp tamarind paste, 2 tsp chopped jaggery and simmer for few minutes.
- Step 5 Garnish with 1/2 tsp chopped coriander leaves.
- Step 6 Give it a Nestle Twist with a slice of lemon.
- Step 7 Serve hot.
