A yummy and healthy khichdi made with mixed sprouts which has a hint of subtle spices make it a wholesome meal for kids and adult. This recipe is rich in proteins and fiber and can be served with dash of butter or ghee with adding of good fats in it......!
Soak and sprout 1.5 tsp moong for 48 hours. Keep aside.
Melt 2 tsp ghee in a pressure cooker and add 1/4th tsp jeera, 1 clove, 1/4th stick of dalchini, 1/2 tsp chopped green chilli, 4 kadi patta and 1/8th tsp hing.
Mix and add the previously sprouted moong along with 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp dhania powder, 3 tbsp rice and 1/2 tsp salt.
Making sure all the ingredients are mixed properly, add water & pressure cook until the rice is cooked.
Transfer to a serving bowl and serve hot.
