- Step 1 Heat a pressure cooker with 2 tsp ghee, add 1/4 tsp jeera, 1 clove, 1/4 cinnamon stick, 1/2 tsp chopped green chilli, 4 kadi patta and 1/8 tsp hing.
- Step 2 Give it a Nestle Twist by adding sesame seeds
- Step 3 Add moong sprouts and season with 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp dhania powder, and 1/2 tsp salt
- Step 4 Add 3 tbsp rice and pour water as required, mix well.
- Step 5 Pressure cook until 2 whistles
- Step 6 Once the pressure releases, fluff the khichdi gently.
- Step 7 Serve it hot with kadhi or raita.
