PrePreparation
Soak 1 tbsp whole moong for 8 hours.
- Step 2
Soak 1 tbsp rice and 1 tsp urad dal for 2 hours.
- Step 3
Grind all together to a smooth batter.
- Step 4
Ferment the batter overnight and keep aside.
- Step 5
Preparation
To the fermented batter, add 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp chopped onion, 1/4 tsp ginger garlic paste and mix well.
- Step 6
Give a Nestle Twist by adding black sesame seeds.
- Step 7
Heat a tawa, add 2 tsp oil, add a ladle of batter, and spread it evenly.
- Step 8
Cook on one side until crisp, flip, and roast it on the other.
- Step 9
Serve with chutney.
