Spinach Oats Dhokla Recipe

A very healthy and nutritious version of dhokla as it contains oats and spinach ! Its loaded with protein, fiber, iron and calcium.

1/4 Chopped Tsp(0.54 gm) Ginger
1/8 Tsp(0.59 gm) Green Chilli Paste
2 Chopped Tbsp(27.0 gm) Palak
1/8 Tsp(0.54 gm) Fruit Salt
5.5 Tbsp(60.0 gm) Nestlé A+ Curd
1 Tsp(5.0 ml) Oil
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Sugar
1/8 Tsp(0.37 gm) Hing
1/4 Tsp(0.93 gm) Rai
4 Number(0.44 gm) Kadi Patta
1 Tbsp(10.0 gm) Besan
2 Tbsp(16.0 gm) Oats
  • For Dhokla

    Grind oats to make a fine oats powder.

  • In a bowl take oats powder,1 tbsp besan, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1/4th tsp salt and 1/8th tsp hing.

  • Now add 1/8th tsp chopped green chillies paste, 1/4 cup Nestlé A+ Curd, 2 tbsp palak puree, 1/4th tsp grated ginger, 1/8th tsp fruit salt and mix all the ingredients well.

  • Grease a plate with 1/2 tsp oil and carefully pour prepared batter into the plate.

  • Steam it for 10 mins.

  • Insert a toothpick to check if the dhokla is ready.

  • For Tadka

    Heat oil in a small pan.

  • Add 1/4th tsp rai, 4 no.kadi patta and let it crackle .

  • Pour the hot tadka onto the plated dhokla.

  • Serve With Mint Chutney
