Spinach Falafel Salad Recipe

As falafel are naturally gluten free, vegetarian & high protein food. Clubbed with some salad it makes it even more delicious!

1/4 Chopped Cup(14.0 gm) Palak
1 Tsp(2.0 ml) Olive Oil
1/8 Diced Cup(22.0 gm) Tomato
1/8 Julienne Cup(14.0 gm) Capsicum
1/8 Julienne Cup(18.0 gm) Yellow Capsicum
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1/4 Powder Tsp(0.75 gm) Black Pepper
1 Tsp(4.0 ml) Lemon Juice
2 Tbsp(28.0 gm) Whole Moong
65.6 Ml(66.0 ml) Water
2 Tsp(7.0 ml) Oil
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Baking Soda
1/2 Powder Tsp(1.0 gm) Red Chilly
1/4 Powder Tsp(0.75 gm) Black Pepper
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1/2 Tsp(0.88 gm) Jeera Powder
1/2 Tsp(0.82 gm) Dhania Powder
1 Number(2.0 gm) Garlic
2 Chopped Tbsp(16.0 gm) Onion
  • For Falafel

    Add soaked, sprouted and boiled moong, 2 tbsp chopped onion, 1 no. garlic, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp baking soda, mix well.

  • Blend coarsley.

  • Make small tikkis.

  • Add 2 tsp oil, add tikkis and shallow fry from both sides.

  • For Salad

    Add 1/4th cup chopped spinach, 1/8th cup diced tomato, 1/8 th cup julienne red capsicum, 1/8th cup julienne yellow capsicum, 1 tsp olive oil, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp black pepper powder and 1 tsp lemon juice.

  • Mix Well and place falafels on top.
