South Indian kadhi is a mild and fairly easy-to-cook dish. Mildly spiced and cooked in yoghurt, make it light on the tummy, easy to digest and nutritious and high in energy, protein and vitamins. It tastes best with rice.

Take 2 tsp of grated coconut, 1 tsp of chopped green chilli, 1 tsp chana dal, 1/2 tsp dhania powder and 1/4 tsp of jeera.
Then add water and grind it to a thick paste.
in a bowl, add 1/8 cup Nestlé A+ Curd and 1/4th tsp salt to taste.
Add the ground coconut paste and mix well.
In a kadhai, heat 1 tsp ghee.
Put 1/2 tsp rai and let it crackle.
Next, add 4 leaves of kadi patta and prepared mixture and mix well.
Add water, mix well.
Add the tempering to the kadhi, and serve hot with chapatti or rice.
