Soru Chokli Pitha (Rice Flour Pancakes) Recipe

Soru Chokli Pithe is a famous Crêpe like pancake prepared with rice and is a winter favorite in the Eastern part of India. It is very similar to homemade dosa that is easy to cook and easy to digest also...this can be served to kids in breakfast or as a snack with chutney or ketchup.....

1 Tbsp(8.0 gm) Onion (Chopped)

1 Tbsp(10.0 gm) Capsicum (Chopped)
ingredients
1/2 Tbsp(5.0 gm) Carrot (Grated)
ingredients
1/2 Tsp(0.94 gm) Ginger (Grated)
ingredients
1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Garlic(Chopped)
ingredients
1 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt

As Required(10.0 ml) Water
  • In a mixing bowl, take 4 tbsp Rice Flour, 1 tbsp Chopped Onion, 1/2 tbsp grated Carrot, 1 tbsp chopped Capsicum, 1/4th tsp Salt, 1/2 tsp Grated Ginger, 1/2 tsp Chopped Garlic and 1 tbsp Curd.

  • Making sure all the ingredients are mixed properly Pour in a little water and keep aside.

  • Heat 1 tsp oil on a nonstick frypan at a low flame.

  • Take a scoopful of the batter, put it in the pan and spread equally to form a pancake.

  • Allowing it to cook, flip and make sure both sides are browned well.

  • Garnish with coriander.

  • Serve fresh and hot.
