Suji khichdi with spinach is a fulfilling recipe especially for the kids........this recipe can be served in the breakfast or as an evening snack.....this quick recipe is full of vital nutrients like calories, fibers and iron.......this recipe can be introduce to infants as well as a weaning food....
First, dry roast 1/4th cup of suji.
Then, heat a pan with 1 tsp oil.
Add 1/4th tsp mustard seeds and let it crackle.
Then add 1/8th tsp hing, 45 curry leaves and 2 tbsp chopped onion.
Saute all the ingredients well.
Add 2 tbsp of chopped tomato,1/4th tsp haldi,1/4th tsp red chilli and mix well.
When the oil starts to separate from the mix, add palak puree and the roasted suji.
Season with1/4th tsp salt and mix well.
Add a sufficient quantity of water.
Cover with a lid & let it cook.
