- Step 1
Heat kadhai, add 1 tsp oil, 1/4 tsp rai and allow it to splutter.
- Step 2
Now add 1/4 tsp urad dal, 1/4 tsp chana dal, 5 no. kadi patta, 1/4 tsp chopped green chili, 1 tbsp chopped onion, and 1 tbsp chopped tomato and saute well.
- Step 3
Then add 2 tbsp peas, 2 tbsp suji, 1/8 tsp salt, little water and stir it well.
- Step 4
Cover and cook for 35 minutes, until the upma thickens and comes together.
- Step 5
Give it a Nestle Twist by adding grated fresh coconut.
- Step 6
Serve hot.
