Rohu Fish Curry Recipe

  • Make 2 tbsp onion paste, 2 tbsp tomato puree and keep it aside.

  • In a plate, place 1 rohu fish. Add 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp haldi and marinate the fish.

  • In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil and shallow fry the fish.

  • Again heat oil in another pan, add 1/4th tsp jeera, 2 tbsp onion paste, 2 tbsp tomato puree, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4th tsp red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp garam masala, 1/4th tsp jeera powder, 1/4th tsp dhania powder, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/8th tsp sugar. Saute it well.

  • Add water and mix well.

  • Add the fried rohu fish. Cook for a few minutes.

  • Add 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.

  • Serve it hot with rice.
