In a plate, place 120 gm rohu fish. Add 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp haldi and marinate the fish.
In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil and shallow fry the fish.
Again heat oil in another pan, add 1/4 tsp jeera powder, onion paste, tomato puree, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp red chilly powder, 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1/4 tsp dhania powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp sugar. Saute it well.
Add water and mix well.
Add the fried rohu fish. Cook for a few minutes.
Add 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.
Serve it hot with rice.
