fish in the form of a curry paired with rice and eaten commonly in all coastal areas, makes a meal complete, nutritious and delicious.
Make 2 tbsp onion paste, 2 tbsp tomato puree and keep it aside.
In a plate, place 1 rohu fish. Add 1/4th tsp salt, 1/4th tsp haldi and marinate the fish.
In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil and shallow fry the fish.
Again heat oil in another pan, add 1/4th tsp jeera, 2 tbsp onion paste, 2 tbsp tomato puree, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4th tsp red chilly powder, 1/4th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp garam masala, 1/4th tsp jeera powder, 1/4th tsp dhania powder, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/8th tsp sugar. Saute it well.
Add water and mix well.
Add the fried rohu fish. Cook for a few minutes.
Add 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.
Serve it hot with rice.
