Rohu Fish Curry Recipe

Rohu Fish in the form of a curry paired with rice and eaten commonly in all coastal areas makes a meal complete, nutritious and delicious.

1.0 Tbsp(8.0 ml) Oil
50.0 Ml(50.0 ml) Water
  • In a plate, place 120 gm rohu fish. Add 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp haldi and marinate the fish.

  • In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil and shallow fry the fish.

  • Again heat oil in another pan, add 1/4 tsp jeera powder, onion paste, tomato puree, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp red chilly powder, 1/4 tsp haldi, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1/4 tsp dhania powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp sugar. Saute it well.

  • Add water and mix well.

  • Add the fried rohu fish. Cook for a few minutes.

  • Add 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.

  • Serve it hot with rice.
