Ridge gourd is really abundant with dietary fiber, vitamin C, riboflavin, zinc, thiamin, iron, as well as magnesium and excellent blood purifier.
Take a kadhai and heat 2 tsp oil in it.
Add 1/4th tsp jeera, 1/4th tsp grated ginger, 1/4th tsp chopped garlic, 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1 tbsp chopped tomato, 1/4th tsp haldi and stir.
Then add 1/4th tsp red chilli powder, 1/4th tsp salt, 1/2 cup chopped torai and mix well.
Add water as required, cover and cook till the water dries out.
Serve hot with chapatti.
