Rice With Dal Palak Recipe

4.0 Chopped Tsp(24.0 gm) Palak
0.74 Chopped Tbsp(9.0 gm) Tomato
1.0 Chopped Tbsp(12.0 gm) Onion
0.37 Chopped Tsp(0.79 gm) Green Chilli
0.74 Chopped Tsp(2.0 gm) Garlic
0.37 Tsp(0.88 gm) Jeera
0.37 Tsp(1.0 gm) Hing

  • In a pan, heat 1 tsp oil.

  • Add 3 cloves, 1/4th tsp chopped garlic and 1 tbsp chopped onion.

  • Saute these ingredients well.

  • Next, add 1 tbsp of chopped tomato, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp each of red chilly powder, 1 tbsp chopped palak , 1/4th tsp garam masala and saute well.

  • Then add 1/8th tsp of dry mango powder and saute well.

  • Add cooked dal and mix well.

  • Season with 1/4th tsp salt and mix again.

  • Serve the ready dal palak with steaming hot rice.
