Steps
- Step 1 In a pan, heat 1 tsp oil
- Step 2 Add 3 cloves, 1/4th tsp chopped garlic and 1 tbsp chopped onion
- Step 3 Saute these ingredients well
- Step 4 Next, add 1 tbsp of chopped tomato, 1/8th tsp haldi, 1/4th tsp each of red chilly powder, 1 tbsp chopped palak , 1/4th tsp garam masala and saute well
- Step 5 Then add 1/8th tsp of dry mango powder and saute well
- Step 6 Add cooked dal and mix well
- Step 7 Season with 1/4th tsp salt and mix again
- Step 8 Serve the ready dal palak with steaming hot rice
