Rawa Ragi Salted Kheer Recipe

A simple and filling version of savory kheer. Its rich in Iron and fiber.

1 Tbsp(10.0 gm) Suji

1 Tbsp(6.0 gm) Ragi Flour

3 Tbsp(43.0 gm) Curd
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(0.59 gm) Jeera
ingredients
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
ingredients
1 Tsp(4.0 gm) Ghee
ingredients
As Required(70.0 ml) Water
  • Pre Preparation

    Churn the curd into buttermilk using water to medium consistency.

  • In a non stick pan, gently heat 1 tsp ghee.

  • Add 1/4th tsp jeera and let the seeds crackle.

  • Then add 1 tbsp ragi,1 tbsp suji and roast well.

  • Add a sufficient quantity of water and mix well.

  • Let the mix simmer to a gentle boil.

  • Now add buttermilk, 1/4th tsp salt and let it cook for a few minutes.

  • Serve prepared kheer in a bowl.
