Banana Stem Dry Vegetable With Oil Recipe

1/2 Chopped Cup(89.0 gm) Plantain Stem
2.0 Grated Tbsp(12.0 gm) Fresh Coconut
2.0 Chopped Tsp(1.0 gm) Coriander Leaves
5.0 Number(8.0 gm) Garlic
1/4 Tsp(0.45 gm) Sambhar Powder
1/4 Powder Tsp(0.54 gm) Red Chilly
1/8 Tsp(0.29 gm) Haldi
1/8 Tsp(0.54 gm) Salt
1.0 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil
150.0 Ml(150.0 ml) Water
  • Blend 2 tbsp grated coconut in sufficient amount of water and keep aside

  • Crush 3 cloves of garlic and keep aside

  • In a kadhai, heat 1 tsp oil.

  • Add crushed garlic along with 1/8th sp haldi, 1/2 cup chopped plantain stem, 1/4th tsp red chilli powder, 1/4th tsp sambhar powder, 1/8th tsp salt and water as required.

  • Cover and let it simmer.

  • Then add coconut paste and let it simmer for a minute

  • To the mixture add 1.5 tsp chopped coriander leaves.

  • Serve hot.
