Dhokla is a traditional Indian recipe. Nutrient dense delicious option to add in diet.
Take a mixing bowl to add 2 tbsp suji, 5.5 tbsp curd and whisk well.
Further add 1/4th tsp salt, 1/8th tsp green chillies and 1/8th tsp grated ginger.
Pour in a little water and mix to obtain the right consistency of the batter.
Add 1/8th tsp fruit salt and mix well.
Grease a steel plate with oil, pour the batter on the plate and steam for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, insert a toothpick to see if cooked and transfer to a serving platter.
To make the tadka, heat 1 tsp oil in a frying pan.
Add 1/8th tsp rai and 4 kadi patta.
Pour the tadka over the cooked dhokla.
Serve hot with mint chutney.
