  • Take a mixing bowl to add 2 tbsp suji, 5.5 tbsp curd and whisk well.

  • Further add 1/4th tsp salt, 1/8th tsp green chillies and 1/8th tsp grated ginger.

  • Pour in a little water and mix to obtain the right consistency of the batter.

  • Add 1/8th tsp fruit salt and mix well.

  • Grease a steel plate with oil, pour the batter on the plate and steam for 10 minutes.

  • After 10 minutes, insert a toothpick to see if cooked and transfer to a serving platter.

  • To make the tadka, heat 1 tsp oil in a frying pan.

  • Add 1/8th tsp rai and 4 kadi patta.

  • Pour the tadka over the cooked dhokla.

  • Serve hot with mint chutney.
