Rajma Shepu Bhaji Recipe

Rajma Shepu is a unique flavourful sabji combined with fiber and iron rich shepu cooked with protein rich rajma making a perfect side dish to be served with rotis or dals.

1.0 Chopped Cup(50.0 gm) Dill Leaves
2.0 Chopped Tbsp(16.0 gm) Onion
1/2 Chopped Tsp(1.0 gm) Garlic
1/2 Chopped Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli
1/4 Tsp(0.93 gm) Rai
1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Haldi
0.13 Tsp(0.37 gm) Hing
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
1.0 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil
20.0 Ml(20.0 ml) Water
  • Heat 1 tsp oil in a frying pan and add 1/4th tsp rai.

  • After crackling of rai stops, add 1/8th tsp hing, 1/2 tsp haldi, 2 tbsp chopped onion, 1/2 tsp chopped green chilli and sauté.

  • Once the onions start turning slightly transparent add 2 tsp boiled rajma, 1/2 tsp chopped garlic and 1 cup chopped shepu.

  • Mixing all the ingredients, add 1/4th tsp salt and cook.

  • Once the volume of shepu is reduced by half, add a little water, saute and cover.

  • Serve hot with chapati.
