Rajgeera Poori Recipe

Rajgeera poori is a soft unleavened fried Indian bread made with calcium-rich rajgira flour. These are a healthy alternative to regular poori. It can be paired with sabjis, chutneys or any side dish of your choice.

1/4 Flour Cup(29.0 gm) Rajgira
2.0 Powder Tbsp(21.0 gm) Jaggery
1/4 Powder Tsp(0.5 gm) Green Elaichi
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
10.0 Tsp(33.0 ml) Oil
12.0 Ml(12.0 ml) Water
  • In a mixing bowl, add 1/4th cup rajgira flour, 2 tbsp jaggery powder, 1/4th tsp green elaichi powder, 1/4th tsp salt.

  • Add water and knead into a dough.

  • Roll the dough into pooris.

  • Heat oil for frying and deep fry the pooris.
