Ragi Vermicelli Peanut Burger Recipe

A very unique burger with calcium rich ragi noodles, veggies and a dollop of protein in form of peanut butter.

1 Tbsp(17.0 gm) Tomato Ketchup
3 Tbsp(30.0 gm) Ragi Sevai
1 Chopped Tbsp(10.0 gm) Red Capsicum
1 Tbsp(15.0 gm) Peanut Butter
1 Chopped Tbsp(3.0 gm) Basil Leaves
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Soya Sauce
1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Green Chilli Paste
1/2 Grated Tsp(0.94 gm) Ginger
1 Tsp(3.0 ml) Oil
1/8 Tsp(0.54 gm) Salt
1 Number(18.0 gm) Lettuce
66 Gm(66.0 gm) Burger Bun
  • In a pan heat 1 tsp oil, add 1 tbsp chopped red capsicum, 1/4th tsp green chilli paste, 1/4th tsp grated ginger, 1/2 tsp soya sauce, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 3 tbsp ragi vermicelli, 1/8th tsp salt, 1 tbsp chopped basil leaves.

  • Mix all the ingredients well and turn off the flame

  • Slice open 1 mediumsized burger bun, through the center.

  • Apply 1 tbsp of tomato ketchup on each half

  • Place the peanut butter noodle mix on it

  • Put 1 lettuce leaf

  • Cover the bun and serve.
