Quinoa Porridge Recipe

Quinoa porridge is eaten as a breakfast cereal dish, made by boiling quinoa with milk. Quinoa is gluten-free, high in protein and one of the few plant foods that contain sufficient amounts of all nine essential amino acids.. It is also high in fiber, magnesium, B vitamins, iron, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin E and various beneficial antioxidants.

1/4 Cup(51.0 ml) Milk

2 Tsp(9.0 gm) Sugar

2 Tsp(5.0 gm) Almond (Chopped)

2 Tsp(5.0 gm) Cashewnut (Chopped)

1/4 Tsp(0.5 gm) Elaichi

As Required(25.0 ml) Water
  • Prepreparation

    Cook 1 tbsp quinoa

  • Boil 1/4 cup milk in a kadai.

  • Add cooked quinoa, 2 tsp sugar, 1/4 tsp green elaichi, 1 tsp chopped kaju, 1 tsp chopped badam and stir well.

  • Cook till it is thick in consistency

  • Serve it hot
