Pumpkin Pie Homemade Recipe

Pumpkin pie is a dessert pie with a spiced, pumpkin-based custard filling. It has a nice smooth texture. Pumpkin is rich in Vitamin A and zinc and can be a fun way to incorporate vegetables.

1 Egg Whole(23.0 gm) Egg
1/2 Number(6.0 gm) Egg Yolk
1/2 Tsp(0.55 gm) Cinnamon
1/8 Powder Tsp(0.24 gm) Nutmeg
1/4 Tsp(0.6 gm) Dry Ginger
1/2 Tsp(0.83 gm) Vanilla Extract
2.0 Powder Tbsp(21.0 gm) Jaggery
1.0 Cup(145.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
2.0 Powder Tbsp(21.0 gm) Jaggery
1/4 Tsp(0.4 gm) Vanilla Extract
1/8 Tsp(0.56 gm) Salt
4 Tbsp(23.0 gm) Butter
30 Ml(30.0 ml) Water
  • For Crust

    In a bowl add 1 cup wheat flour, and 2 tbsp butter, and rubbed with your hand till a crumbly texture forms.

  • 2 tbsp Jaggery powder, 1/8 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp vanilla extract water as required, and knead into a dough.

  • Roll out dough in a round shape then place it in the mold and stream sides of the dough. Chill the crust and make strips from the streamed dough.

  • For Filling

    In a bowl add 2 tbsp jaggery powder, 1 egg,1/4 egg yolk, and whisk well.

  • Add pumpkin puree, 1/4 cup Nestlé A+ Milk,1/4 tsp vanilla extract,1/4 tsp cinnamon,1/8 tsp nutmeg powder,1/8 tsp dry ginger powder,and whisk well.

  • Pour pumpkin batter into a chilled crust mold and cover it with strips. Bake at 215 degrees for 15 mins.

  • Reduce the heat to 170 degrees and bake for 35 45 mins.

  • Cook and serve.
