- Step 1
For Pesto
In a blender, add 6 basil leaves, 1 walnut, 1/2 tsp chopped garlic, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp olive oil, and blend into the smooth paste.
- Step 2
For Soup
In a pan, pour water as required and add 1 tbsp chopped onion, 1/3 cup diced pumpkin, mix and cook until pumpkin is soft.
- Step 3
Transfer pumpkin mixture to the blender and blend into the smooth puree.
- Step 4
Transfer puree to the pan and add pesto, 1/4 tsp black pepper powder, salt as per taste, water as required.
- Step 5
Mix well and simmer for a few minutes.
- Step 6
Give a Nestle Twist by adding pumpkin seeds.
- Step 7
Serve hot.
