Pumpkin Paneer Poppers Recipe

A quick snack masking the taste of pumpkin not usually liked by children. A complete snack item packed with carbs, proteins, vitamin A and fats. Paneer being an excellent vegetarian protein source and filled with calcium and selenium makes the dish nutrient dense. Easy poppers which are calorie and nutrient dense.

1/2 Tsp(1.0 gm) Olives(Chopped)

1/2 Tsp(2.0 gm) Garlic(Grated)

1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Green Chilli Paste

1/4 Tsp(0.3 gm) Mixed Herbs

1/8 Tsp(0.54 gm) Salt

For Frying(16.0 ml) Oil
  • Pre Preparation

  • Boil and mash 1/4th cup potato

  • Take a bowl and add 1/4th cup Mashed Potato,2 tbsp Grated Pumpkin,1/4th tsp Green Chilli paste,1/2 tsp Grated Garlic,1 tbsp Chopped Pudina, 1/4th tsp Salt and 1 tbsp Corn Flour, mix well.

  • Take another bowl and add 1 tsp grated paneer, 1/4th tsp Mixed Herbs and 1/2 tsp Chopped Olives mix well.

  • Take a portion of Potato mix and gently flatten it onto your palms, now fill in 1tbsp of grated paneer mixture and fold and roll into round balls.

  • Coat it with Bread Crumbs.

  • Take a deep pan and add some oil for frying.

  • Let the oil heat and the add the poppers, deep fry them until golden brown.

  • Serve hot and enjoy!
