Pumpkin and bajra porridge is a naturally sweet and lightly spiced variation on traditional bajra porridge. Pumpkin is a plump, nutritious orange squash high in Vitamin A and other vitamins and minerals. Pumpkin pairs well with coconut Nestlé A+ Milk, which has a lovely aroma.

Melt 1 tsp ghee in a frying pan at a low flame, add 3 tbsp bajra and start roasting.
Once the bajra is roasted pour in the required amount of water and stir properly.
Add 4 tbsp grated pumpkin along with 1 tbsp jaggery and 1/8th tsp cinnamon.
Making sure all the ingredients are mixed properly, allow it to simmer for a few minutes until the desired consistency is obtained and transfer to a serving bowl.
Garnish with almond slices.
