- Step 1 Heat a kadhai with 1 tsp oil, add 1/4 tsp rai and let it crackle
- Step 2 Add 1 tbsp chopped onion and saute until soft
- Step 3 Add 1 red chilli, 2 tbsp chopped tomato and cook until soft
- Step 4 Add 1/2 cup chopped palak and cook until it wilts
- Step 5 Season with 1/2 tbsp tamarind pulp and pour in little water
- Step 6 Mix everything together
- Step 7 Season with 1/4 tsp salt and let it simmer until all flavors meld together
- Step 8 Serve hot with chapati.
