Chikki is one very much loved sweet treat by kids. It is a nutrient rich combination made with jaggery and enriched with the addition of super foods like chia seeds.
In a pan , add 1 tsp ghee, 1/4th cup jaggery powder and mix well.
Stir continuously till jaggery melts completely.
Add 1/8th tsp cardamom powder.
Turn off flame, add 1.5 cup puffed rice and mix all ingredients till it binds well.
Grease a plate with 1 tsp ghee, add the puffed rice mixture and pat it with a spatula gently.
With a sharp knife, cut them into squares.
