Pudina Paratha Recipe

Pudina paratha is layered, mint flavored whole wheat flat bread made from whole wheat flour which is very refreshing and a complete meal.

4 Tbsp(26.0 gm) Wheat Flour (Whole)
2 Tbsp(4.0 gm) Pudina (Chopped)
1/8 Tsp(0.3 gm) Haldi
1/8 Tsp(0.56 gm) Salt
1 Tsp(4.0 gm) Ghee
As Required(25.0 ml) Water
  • Pre Prep

  • Knead the wheat flour dough. Keep aside.

  • For stuffing

  • In a bowl add 2 tbsp pudina leaves, 1/8th tsp salt, 1/8th tsp haldi.

  • Mix well and keep aside.

  • Paratha

  • Dust a small round piece of dough with little flour and roll it into a paratha.

  • Add the stuffing on the rolled roti, seal from all sides.

  • Dust with little flour and further roll it into a paratha.

  • For roasting

  • Place the paratha on a griddle, apply 1 tsp ghee and roast the paratha evenly.

  • Flip and cook until both sides are well roasted or turn light brown in color.

  • Serve hot with accompaniment.
